Offering location rental, jungle horseback adventures including half day, full day and overnight rides.  We are a family owned ranch featuring orange orchards, a few head of cattle, location rental, and the best horseback riding experience in Belize!  With our spectacular scenery, fresh mountain air, remote - yet easily accessible location, we are the perfect getaway to let loose and celebrate relationships for Meetings, Corporate Events, Birthdays, Reunions, and Weddings and other family gatherings.

Location

Green Acres Ranch is nestled in the valley of the blue mountains, under the Sleeping Giant. This part of the Maya Mountains is the back-drop for the extraordinary views along the  Hummingbird Highway. We are at Mile 36 on the Hummingbird Highway, which is just 17 miles from Belmopan and 36 miles from Dangriga.  The ranch is located between the Sibun Bridge and the Silver Creek Bridge, just 10mins from the Inland Blue Hole National Park.

Services & Facilities

We are the ideal location for large group gatherings. Celebrate themed birthday parties, where your imagination is the only limitation.  Gather for family reunions under the large thatched palapa.  Take your company group outdoors for active adventure corporate retreats or set up alongside the natural spring lagoon for Yoga or meditation sessions.  Plan an intimate wedding escape complete with horsedrawn carriage, butterfly release, and live band music.  

Facilities and activities include large open air Big Palapa, dining area, bar, music center, restroom, shower, kid’s playground and trampoline, volleyball, Frisbee, stables, tack room, medicinal plant hiking trails, horseback riding and cave 

Green Acres is easily accessible yet isolated and remote - a great combination for special events.  No interruptions with cell phones allows for memorable group bonding. An easy drive on paved road - right on the highway.  And a great resting place for long drives between Cayo and Placencia.
