Resort
Flight Times: Please arrive by 2:30 pm on Wednesday or Saturday and depart no earlier than 11:00 am on Wednesday or Saturday. For arrival and departure times on other days, please consult the sales department in Houston. Beginning May 30, 2009 we will accept flights arriving in Belize by 2:50pm for transfers to the island by 3:30pm. We will run this specail transfer time until Labor day 2009. Transfer boats will depart as clsoe to 3:30pm as possible.
Boat Transfer: The Island is 35 miles from Belize. The transfer time to the island is 1 hour and 15 minutes depending on guest arrival times and weather. The boat will leave as close to 3:00 pm as possible. Your luggage will be transferred with you to the island. Our staff will ensure delivery to your guestroom. Please pack a small bag with your most important items as a carry on for the transfer. You will not be able to access your luggage during the transfer.

Accommodations
At Turneffe Island Resort our 20 guestrooms are equipped with their own private patio, offering a beautiful unobstructed view of the Caribbean Sea. All guest rooms have floor to ceiling wood consisting of 20 varieties, adding style and elegance to each unique guest room. All rooms connect directly to the white sandy beaches of the island. We have a few select rooms that adjoin to each other via the patio. Each room offers a hunter ceiling fan and air conditioning. Guestroom amenities: Offering you Crabtree & Evelyn bath and body products, terry cloth towels, fresh water foot baths at the entrance, nightly poems and morning coffee and tea service. Safety Information: Each guestroom is equipped with a smoke detector and fire extinguishers located by the front door. Several fire hoses are located throughout the island that cover all building exteriors.
Private Cabanas: Located on the southeastern side of the island and offers you more privacy from the main part of the Resort. These 8 unique free standing accommodations offer a variety of extras such as wrap around porches, canopy style beds, large sitting area and a breath taking view of the Caribbean Sea and are tucked in between local vegetation and native trees. Accommodation provided with either one king bed or a queen and full size bed, a set of stuffed wicker chairs and a coffee table with a reading lamp. Each room has a 2.0 cubic foot mini bar/refrigerator, magnifying mirror, hair dyer and local art trims out the room for your comfort. Take your pick from an indoor spacious shower or larger outdoor private shower. Patio has two rocking teak cushioned chairs with a shared table. The patio is also surrounded by a transparent protective screening. Nightly turndown service helps you get ready for a peaceful night’s sleep, in one of our new Sealy perfect sleeper beds that accompany your stay.
Superior second level guestroom: Located on the 2nd level of our island buildings offers a bird’s eye view of the Caribbean Sea and is tucked in between local vegetation and native trees.
